Melinda Lombardi, Proprietor of Salone de Capelli LLC
Melinda has been in the salon industry since 1984, and has always had a vision of creating the ultimate work environment for stylists and technicians. That vision has now come to fruition, as Salone de Capelli.
Being a wife and mother of two, Melinda is concerned with the products we use on ourselves and our children. The choices we make, in the shampoos and lotions we use, can really make a difference. Capelli offers organic hair and skin care products, as well as fair-trade, organic beverages. It is truly a salon with "green" ideals.

Chris Murin, Esthetician
Chris has worked locally as an esthetician for the last five years. As a graduate of Douglas J Educational Center in East Lansing (an Aveda Concept School), Chris learned body treatments along with skincare. She is constantly developing her knowledge to understand health and beauty, and better serve her clients. Her training had an ayurvedic influence which is reflected in her gentle and calming affect on clients.
Nancy has 20+ years of experience, working for 6 years with Redken National Performing Artists. She specializes in hair design and color, and continues her education with Redken, Paul Mitchell, Pureology, and Bio Elements in New York, Las Vegas, Chicago, and Grand Rapids. |

Susan Robinson, MMT, CMT
A graduate of Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences, Susan has been in the medical massage profession since 2005. She completed a course in Massage Therapy Lymphedema and carries certification as a Massage Therapy Lymphedema Technician. She continues to study all avenues of massage to pass on to her clients. The massage experience is tailor-made to suit each individual client.
TJ has been specializing in manicures/pedicures, haircolor and hair design since 1996. She began schooling with Career Tech Center in Traverse City, and continued education with Creative Nail Design, OPI, Redken, Classic cutting with Vidal Sassoon, and Haircutting with Ruth Roche of New York. (The Italian hair color that TJ uses is 90% natural.) |

Since 1996, Karina has received 6 degrees in special training, including up-styling, permanent hair straightening, and master level cutting and color correcting services, with 2 years as a free lance make-up artist. Bridgette Benedict
Bridgette specializes in natural spa manicures and pedicures while using organic, essential oils. The hot stone spa treatment and massage provides a soothing touch as an add on service. She has been in the nail industry since 2001, and takes pride in her work while continuing her education by attending yearly events and shows.
Deidre has more than 15 years of professional experience in the hair industry. Along with her experience in the field, she has also had numerous master classes in hair design and schwartzcopf color, always keeping her education up to date. Deidre is a versatile hair stylist who can achieve any look from classic to trendy, giving you consistency and quality with every visit. |
Keith Martin
Keith has worked in the salons of Philip Anthony, trained with international hair stylists, and created hairstyles in national ad campaigns. He was also voted "One of the Top Hairstylists in Grand Rapids" in 2004 by Grand Rapids Magazine. Keith's unique ability to personalize hair designs to fit his client's wants and needs, his energetic personality, and flair for creative hair styling have undeniably set him apart in ways that make any visit with Keith an experience.

Melissa is a 2001 graduate of Douglas J Institute (Aveda Concept School), where she was highly trained in hair coloring and cutting. She has one goal in mind: to help you look and feel your absolute best! Transformation is what excites her, whether it is a subtle change or an extreme one. Each product she uses is chosen carefully for its ability to maintain the health and integrity of the hair.

Having worked in venues from resort to salon and medical offices gives Suzette a well rounded 5 years of hands-on experience. Deep tissue therapeutic work, prenatal, hot stone and facial massage are body work therapies Suzette specializes in. Using organic body products and highest quality essential oils, Suzette fits in with the "green ideals" of Salone de Capelli. |
Meg Franklin-Judd
Meg is a native of Traverse City with nearly 20 years of experience in hairdressing. Her advanced training is the foundation that enables her to both create and inspire, with strong emphasis on individuality and comfort. She continues to educate herself, finding inspiration in all areas of life. "Becoming a wife and a mother has only strengthened my belief that the most important aspects of any relationship is that of trust and respect. With the responsibility to myself, my family, and my clients I have made the natural decision to work with the latest techniques, organic products, and safest haircolor that is available."
Kimberly shares 30+ years of experience as a cosmetologist. A passion for learning has allowed her many directions in the industry. A teacher at the TBA Vocational School, a present practice as an herbalist, national spokeperson for salon software, as well as being a previous salon owner are areas of special interest. The combination of skill and dedication with a commitment to the environment has each guest feeling good, looking great and having fun! You will love the special attention she is able to give each individual. |
